About the role
We’re looking for a UI/UX Design Intern to join our team in Berlin for 6 months. You will join one of our project teams and work on a complex enterprise software alongside Futurice colleagues and clients, with one of our Senior Designers mentoring you along the way. This role is aimed at students who are completing an internship as part of their studies.
You’ll have the chance to work hands-on across a broad range of design challenges, including interaction design, prototyping, UI design, design systems and handover to development.
In this role, you will:
    Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
    Help to expand and maintain a design system
    Collaborate with designers and developers to implement design solutions
    Participate in client meetings
    Contribute to design community activities in Berlin and across Germany
What You Bring
    You have at least the better part of your relevant studies behind you, or otherwise got a hold of things well enough because of your passion for digital things.
    You are interested in enterprise software and a soft spot for complex processes and customised solutions
    First experience in UX/UI design and familiarity with common UI patterns
    Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, interest in design systems and component libraries
    Good communication skills in English and German (C2)
    We don’t expect perfection. We’re more interested in how you think and collaborate than whether you’ve ticked every box.

Duration & Compensation
We’re looking for someone joining our Berlin team for a period of 6 months, preferably from September 2025 to May 2026. We’re open to discuss earlier or later start dates depending on your curriculum.
The weekly working time is 40 hours.
The weekly working hours are 40 hours, with 2 days of holiday entitlement per month.
