UX/UI Design Lead
You will play an important role by defining and communicating user experience and interface design requirements across multiple digital platforms. You will focus on translating customer and our needs into clear UX/UI expectations for IT and digital teams, ensuring that design solutions align with strategic goals and deliver user-centered experiences.
You will have expertise in UX/UI principles, design systems, and user research, and will collaborate with partners to advocate for customer-centric design throughout the product development lifecycle. Additionally, your role will involve hands-on design work to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that communicate design concepts and user flows. You will report to the Head of Customer Experience.

Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Definition and Communication:
o Collaborate with partners to define UX/UI requirements that integrate customer insights, user data, and our goals.
o Use customer-centric design principles to ensure that requirements reflect the needs, behaviours, and expectations of end users.
o Translate these insights and requirements into clear, relevant UX/UI expectations for IT and digital teams.
o Provide guidance that balances our goals with user needs to guide meaningful and engaging user experiences.
2. Hands-on Design:
o Develop wireframes, user flows, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design ideas.
o Apply user-centric design principles and visual design best practices to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
o Improve on designs based on user feedback, behavioural data, usability testing, and partner input to improve the user experience.
o Collaborate with design teams and developers to ensure design feasibility and quality implementation.
3. Collaboration and Agreement:
o Work with platform dedicated Designers and Product Managers in IT to ensure that design solutions meet our priorities and user expectations.
o Facilitate workshops and discussions to align partners on UX/UI goals and design direction.
4. Design Systems and Standards:
o Support the use and evolution of design system by defining requirements for reusable components and design patterns that maintain brand consistency and scalability, considering the different brand clusters and their digital experience requirements.
o Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design principles across all digital touchpoints, ensuring compliance according to European standards.
5. User Research and Insights:
o Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to inform our requirements and validate design directions.
o Analyse user feedback and data in collaboration to identify opportunities for improving user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design or related roles, demonstrating strong competence in user experience and interface design.
- Experience collaborating with partners and IT/digital teams to translate our needs into UX/UI requirements.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar, with knowledge of design systems and reusable components.
