Pardy’s Waste Management and Industrial Services Ltd. is now accepting applications for one full-time Vacuum Helper to join our growing team in our Pasadena and Mount Pearl locations in Newfoundland. This is a unionized position with Operating Engineers Local 904, offering competitive pay and benefits in accordance with the collective agreement. The position includes a 120-day probation period.

What You’ll Do

• Perform general labour duties in support of industrial service work.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, including routine cleanup and housekeeping.
• Load and unload equipment, materials, and waste as required.
• Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Clean tanks, drums, totes, trucks, and portable toilets.
• Assist operators with vacuum truck operations on site, including handling vacuum hoses.
• Support mechanics with maintenance duties as required.
• Perform other site labour-related work as required.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces as required; training will be provided.
• Use the ADP electronic payroll system; training will be provided.

What You Bring

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment fit-for-work medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach to representing the company.
• Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork.

Pay: $24.57-$28.10 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
