Vacuum Excavator Operator/Driver

The Role:

Are you an experienced Vacuum Excavator Driver looking for a stable and rewarding role? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our expanding team.

Here are some of the activities that you’ll get involved in:

• Operating Vacuum Excavators – Safely manoeuvring and operating Vac-Ex machinery to remove soil and debris without damaging underground utilities.
• Utility Avoidance – Carefully excavating around gas, water, electric, and telecom lines to prevent damage.
• Material Handling & Disposal – Collecting, storing, and disposing of excavated material in accordance with regulations.
• Routine Maintenance – Performing daily checks and minor maintenance on the Vac-Ex lorry.
• Assisting the Team – Supporting groundworkers when required, especially if the Vac-Ex is out of service.
• Site Safety Compliance – Following safety protocols, wearing PPE, and ensuring traffic management procedures are adhered to.
• Record Keeping – Completing job logs, risk assessments, and other relevant paperwork.

VAC-EX Hire would also be keen to hear from persons with a C" license interested in training to become a Vac-ex operator.
