Job summary:
We are seeking an experienced, smart, passionate and customer focussed Partnership Specialist looking to expand their career in IT vendor management. The successful candidate will take ownership of Spark’s strategic engagement with multiple vendors including Cisco Systems, navigating intricate partner frameworks and ensuring compliance with highly specific vendor program requirements. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and securing competitive advantage by leading initiatives that span governance, program execution, and technical enablement.
Key duties:
- Strategic partner relationship management and governance.
- Management of Cisco incentive programs to maximize financial returns.
- Govern Spark’s certification and vendor compliance programs, coordinating stakeholders at all levels to ensure Spark maintains required accreditations.
- Coordination of vendor training and development programs.
- Cisco Partner Program Audit (PCR) and Compliance Management.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product and technical teams to amplify the value of Cisco and other vendor offerings within Spark’s portfolio.
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- An outgoing personality with a can-do attitude and proven ability in developing strong internal and external relationships at all levels.
- 10+ years experience in IT vendor partner management.
- Tertiary Diploma or higher in Management and Information Technology.
- Direct experience working within Cisco (or similar IT vendor) or Cisco distributor, providing deep insight of solutions and partner program ecosystems and platforms.
- Expertise in leading development of joint business plans and executing go to market strategies.
- Proficiency in Cisco’s incentive programs rebate maximization strategies, bringing a track record of achieving measurable benefits.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A structured worker, able to design and follow process, with excellent attention to detail.
