Manages Production Supervisors that are responsible for managing the daily manufacturing operations. Implements policies and procedures to ensure volume, quality and cost goals are met. Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.
Nationality Requirements
Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.
Job Description
Manages the production team across shifts, ensuring the manufacturing of products in planned quantities, at budgeted cost, and of desired quality. Ensures all safety procedures are followed and metrics met. Investigates, trouble-shoots and provides solutions to more complex production problems that are elevated. Liaisons with functional or operational area managers (e.g. in Supply Chain or Program Management) to understand current and future product needs and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities. Leads activities and projects to support continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction.
Typically, a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and 5+ years of related experience.

Plus 3+ years people leader experience

Lean Six Sigma certification preferred

May be required to maintain security clearance
Expected Compensation: The expected compensation for this role is between $116,000 to $145,000 annually. Please note, this is the expected compensation however, Ultra Maritime considers many factors in determining compensation prior to offer, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
