Part-time Retail Assistant

Vapro is a family run vaping business supplying Ireland with an extensive range of high-quality vaping products. We first opened in 2014 in Tuam, Co. Galway and then opened our second store in Oranmore, Co. Galway in 2019. Vapro strives to provide a top class customer service. Both shops are open 7 days a week.

We are now seeking applications for the position of Full-time Retail Assistant at our vape store, Vapro Oranmore.

Role Description

We are seeking a passionate, motivated and organised individual to join our growing team. As a Part-time Retail Assistant, you'll play a fundamental role in shaping our customer’s experience. Availability to work weekday shifts 10:00 to 18:00/19:00 is required. Weekend shifts will be required the odd time, Saturday 10:00 to 18:00 and Sunday 12:00 to 17:00 is required.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, and we’re looking for someone with a friendly attitude, a positive outlook, and the ability to engage with our customers in a warm and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities & Duties typically include, but not limited to:

· Opening and closing the shop, ensuring all cabinets are locked at the end of each day

· Assisting customers with their inquiries, providing product information, and offering assistance with purchases

· Process till transactions efficiently and accurately

· Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience

· Work collaboratively with team members to meet weekly targets

· Merchandise stock, ensuring accurate pricing and attractive displays

· Replenish stock and assist in placing orders when required

· Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, seasonal promotions, and in-store offers

· Maintaining cleanliness, organisation of the store and a welcoming store environment

· Strong listening and communication skills

· Self-driven and detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards

· Demonstrates initiative and self-motivated as you are working alone

· A proactive approach to learning about products and promotions

· Willingness to travel to work at our shop in Tuam from time to time, will be looked upon favourably

· Knowledge of the vaping industry and/or experience in retail is not essential, but an advantage
