Job Title: Vehicle Damage Assessor
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Salary: Up to £32,000 – Total OTE £35,000 - £40,000
Full Time and Permanent
Working hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm with 1 hour lunch
1 in 3 Saturdays 8am – 12pm
We have a turnover of approximately 250 million and over 700 members of staff across 12 dealerships and 1 dedicated service centre.
Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the automotive industry? We are looking for a talented Vehicle Estimator to join our team in Stockton-on-Tees. If you have an eye for precision and enjoy assessing and valuating vehicle damage, this role is the perfect fit for you.
As a Vehicle Estimator, your role will be crucial in evaluating and estimating the cost of vehicle repairs and services. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and transparent communication with customers, insurance companies and our service team.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of damage and required repairs.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for repair work
- Consult with customers and insurance companies to explain estimates and repair processes
- Ensure the use of genuine and high-quality parts and materials
- Maintain clear and organized records of estimates and repair orders.
The Ideal candidate will:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A team player with a can-do attitude.
- Confident delivery of accurate vehicle repair estimates.
- Knowledge of Audatex, Escribe and PAS 10125 are essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Up to date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
- Be committed to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
- Help achieve sales targets.
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard at all times.
- Comply with Health & Safety Procedures.
