Vendor Marketing Specialist

Dicker Data is looking for a Vendor Marketing Assistant to work in the Marketing team. The primary responsibility of this Parnell-based role is to liaise with the Product Managers/Business Unit Managers to ensure our Vendors and their products and focus areas are available and promoted via all relevant channels.

General Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly marketing plans for the relevant teams
• Organise, manage and submit claims for all MDF activities to capture all available funding
• Liaise weekly with each of the Product Managers/Business Unit Managers to ensure key products and focus areas are covered with the various marketing vehicles
• Work with the Dicker Data team to ensure timely execution of all marketing activities
• Keep the relevant vendor pages on the Dicker website up to date with the latest promotions
• Keep the relevant dedicated microsites up to date with the latest promotions and content
• Drive social media engagement for Vendors with internal and external stakeholders
• Writing and submitting asset design requests for all assets required from the Marketing team
• Proactively engage with Vendors to capture all available incremental MDF each quarter
• Ad hoc Marketing & Communications tasks, as required

To be successful, you will have/be:

• At least +2 years of commercial experience in marketing programme coordination
• Degree qualifications in a relevant field
• Advanced communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
• High level of self-motivation and resourcefulness
• Proficient knowledge of modern social media platforms (LinkedIn/Facebook/Twitter)
• Willingness to learn
• Excellent attention to detail
• Intermediate MS Office Applications skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with key personnel across the business
