The Veteran Claims Consultant serves as the veteran's primary point of contact during the initial stages of Veterans Guardian's process. Veteran Claims Consultants conduct in-depth strategy sessions, review veterans' documentation, and help them identify potential claim opportunities based on their history and current conditions.
This position combines analytical review, education, and empathetic client interaction, making it ideal for professionals who are both mission-driven and performance-oriented.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive strategy sessions to explain the claims process and identify viable claim opportunities.
- Review veterans' service records (i.e., DD-214), medical files, and rating decisions to support claim development.
- Obtain required documents and disclosures, including contracts.

- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the veteran's claim moves efficiently through the process.
- Meet or exceed monthly production goals while maintaining high accuracy and compliance standards.

- Excellent communication, active listening, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, structured environment.
- Attention to detail with commitment to compliance and documentation accuracy.
