Summary

We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team at Avon Animal Hospital. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience while supporting our veterinary staff in delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate records of patient visits.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
• Assist in processing payments and managing client accounts efficiently.
• Support veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including laboratory coordination.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a veterinary is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures is an asset but not required.
• Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
