Location: Dr. Vetamin Primary and Urgent Care Veterinary Hospital – Ottawa, ON

_ Ideal Candidate_

• DVM + ACVIM/ECVIM Internal Medicine board-certified or board-eligible
• Licensed or licensure-eligible in Ontario
• Strong communicator with a team-first, patient-centric approach
• Experience performing advanced diagnostics including ultrasound, endoscopy, cytology, and complex case management
• Comfortable supervising RVTs, mentoring junior veterinarians, and liaising closely with referring veterinarians

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level internal medicine consultations and lead a care team in diagnostics, treatment planning, and chronic disease management
• Perform and interpret advanced imaging (ultrasound, echocardiography), endoscopic evaluations, and guided procedures
• Mentor/lead ICU-trained RVTs and junior DVMs, ensuring exceptional client education and communication
• Contribute to continuous improvement, case reviews, professional development initiatives, and hospital-wide protocols
