Summary

As a Veterinary Technician at Kindness Animal Clinic, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical care to our patients. This position is essential to our commitment to animal health and client education, ensuring that every pet receives the best possible treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests, including X-rays and laboratory work.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
• Provide proper animal restraint techniques during procedures.
• Educate pet owners on post-treatment care and general pet health.
• Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
• Support kennel operations, including feeding, bathing, and exercising animals.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and veterinary terminology.
• Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Compassionate approach to animal care with a strong commitment to client service.
