Company Profile: The focus of the company is to connect the human experience for good. We have a public community platform and a saas solution focused on the buying experience. We need a head of Finance who has worked with venture backed startups. The company is an early-stage startup, currently in stealth mode. Launch will be in Summer 2026. More details will be provided after an NDA has been signed.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Formulating and implementing financial strategies that support the company's growth and long-term goals.
• Investment & Funding: Coordinating and managing investment plans, and participating in securing funding for the company (initial capital round and then determining metrics to reach later rounds), such as through venture capital or family wealth offices.
• Budgeting/Forecasting & Org Planning: Lead the development and management of the company's budgets, forecasting organization planning and financial needs, and tracking financial performance against these plans. Help identify future revenue streams.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Overseeing the creation of accurate and timely financial statements.
• Risk Management: Identifying and assessing financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them, and ensuring the company's financial stability.
• Compliance & Regulations: Ensuring the company adheres to tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Stakeholder Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with financial institutions, investors, auditors, and regulators.
• Process Improvement: Identifying inefficiencies in financial systems and implementing technology and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Compensation: Equity on a vesting schedule and salary upon successful raise of capital. The opportunity will be part-time before venture capital. If you want the ability to connect the human experience for good and transform the customer buying experience, this is a unique opportunity for you.

Pay: $87,282.76 - $105,114.72 per year
