Job Description: Video Editor/Graphic Designer (Social Media Marketing Agency, India)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor/Graphic Designer to join our Social Media Marketing Agency in India. This role involves combining technical expertise with artistic abilities to produce visually appealing and engaging videos and graphics for social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in video editing and graphic design, with expertise in software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.

Responsibilities:

1. Edit video footage to create compelling and visually appealing videos for social media platforms, including trimming, cutting, and arranging clips, adding transitions, audio, and visual effects.

2. Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards that align with social media marketing goals and client requirements.

3. Create and design visually striking graphics, including logos, banners, posters, infographics, and other marketing materials for social media campaigns.

4. Use Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW proficiently to enhance video and graphic quality, apply motion graphics and special effects, and manipulate images.

5. Incorporate audio elements, such as sound effects, background music, and voiceovers, to enhance the video content.

6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and graphic design techniques, tools, and software, especially in the context of social media marketing.

7. Ensure all projects are completed within the given timeframe and meet the specified guidelines and standards for social media platforms.

8. Collaborate closely with the social media marketing team to produce engaging video content and graphics that align with social media strategies and campaigns.

9. Manage and organize project files, assets, and archives effectively to maintain an efficient workflow within the social media marketing agency.

10. Conduct video and graphic quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and social media platform requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in video editing and graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating skills and creativity.

2. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.

3. Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, color theory, typography, and graphic design principles, especially in the context of social media marketing.

4. Knowledge of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and aspect ratios for different social media platforms.

5. Familiarity with motion graphics and animation techniques for social media content is a plus.

6. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a social media marketing agency environment.

7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including social media marketers, copywriters, and account managers.

8. Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work that aligns with social media campaign objectives.
