We are looking for a VIE as Sustainability Manager to ensure full implementation of the sustainability strategy and targets in collaboration with all key stakeholders and drive L'Oréal's sustainability agenda forward in Italy by managing key projects within the L'Oréal For The Future (L4TF) program.
This dynamic role involves close collaboration with all four divisions and corporate functions, requiring strong project management, communication, and networking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and execute key L4TF projects, ensuring alignment with global and regional strategies. This includes developing detailed action plans, monitoring progress against KPIs, and identifying and sharing best practices across the Italian organization.
- Working Group & Squad Animation: Facilitate monthly meetings of L4TF working groups and sustainability squads, providing support and guidance to achieve program objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Participate actively in meetings to offer necessary support to working groups and squads. Prepare and deliver presentations meetings with zone and global teams.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and analyze project performance using the L4TF performance monitoring tool. Prepare quarterly dashboards to communicate progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Knowledge Sharing & Upskilling: Identify, curate, and disseminate best practices for L4TF within Italy. Coordinate sustainability upskilling initiatives in collaboration with Corporate Responsibility, HRD, and the learning team.
- Communication & Engagement: Partner with the L4TF Corporate and national Communication teams to develop and implement communication strategies that enhance L'Oréal's sustainability reputation. This includes stakeholder engagement, employee engagement, and media outreach.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of sustainability reports, conducting data analysis, and creating compelling presentations as needed.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, communication, and/or sustainability.
Skills: Demonstrated expertise in project management, network building, and negotiation. A strong understanding of key sustainability challenges and opportunities is essential. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team are crucial. Proficiency in data analysis and report preparation is required.
Language: Fluency in English is required. Italian language skills are considered a strong asset.
