About the role
As a Virtual Mentor, you will play a critical behind-the-scenes role in ensuring our contact centre runs smoothly and delivers high-quality, culturally respectful services to jobseekers, while meeting service delivery targets.
You will support our Job Mentors through scheduling, reporting and a range of administrative functions, and act as the first point of contact for the WFA, IEA and Parent Pathway programs.
The role involves providing regular reporting on contact centre metrics and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. This position is heavily administrative and call-centre oriented, so strong time-management skills and demonstrated administrative experience are essential.
This is a full-time role based in Newcastle.
Skills and Experiences:
About you
- Must have experience working with the ESS system
- Must have mentoring or case management experience in an Employment Services
- Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional phone manner with the ability to yarn with our participants
- First Nations Cultural sensitivity
- Strong organisational and multitasking ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and handle customer complaints
- Must have WWCC and pass a police check.
