Introduction:
Aitken College invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of Visual Arts Technician (full-time fixed-term 1.0 FTE), for commencement on Friday, 27 February 2026, for a 12 parental leave replacement contract. The Visual Arts Technician is responsible for preparing and maintaining all equipment and supplies in the Visual Arts spaces, working closely to support the Visual Arts Teachers (P-12) and the Head of Faculty (Visual Arts). The Visual Arts Technician is also responsible for wider arts support responsibilities, including photographing/arranging photographs of student work and curating school exhibitions. This role provides technical support and resources to the staff and students in the Visual Arts Faculty.
