Who you are
As a Visual merchandiser, you have a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for home furnishing, design, and people’s everyday life at home.
You enjoy taking responsibility for your own tasks, approach challenges with flexibility and positivity.
You’re able to work with changing situations in fast paced retail environment and prioritize your tasks effectively with a customer focused mindset.
A practical approach and a hands- on attitude guide your daily work, and you want to collaborate closely with your team to exceed set goals.
Most importantly, you’re able create commercially attractive visual solutions in co- operation with other departments.
You have education in art, visual merchandising or industrial design and you are computer proficient with experience of using design programs.
You will have the opportunity to work on various projects in different IKEA units across Finland and possibly also abroad.
You have a desire to constantly grow and expand personal knowledge and capabilities, potentially toward a leadership role as a next step.
Fluent English skills are required for the role.
A day in your life with us
Our goal is to keep up the store’s visual impression and commerciality up to date using our in-dept knowledge about store layout, different display, and range presentation techniques in various medias as well as customer behavior and segmentation in our local market area.
The work includes planning, implementation, and maintenance. One of the most rewarding aspects of the job is seeing your designs come to life in the store and inspiring customers to decorate their homes.

Our work is mainly carried out during office hours.

Salary is based on the Collective agreement for the Commercial sector, salary group C, and the experience grade is based on previous similar experience and a relevant degree.
