Description:
As a Visual Merchandiser - Layout Planner at MUJI Store Support Service, you will play a crucial role in optimising our store layouts, product placements, and space allocations to enhance the customer experience and maximise sales. By bringing data analysis, stock forecasting, and planogram design together with a highly collaborative, cross-functional approach, you will directly shape how our customers experience our brand. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering exceptional product experiences that create lasting customer satisfaction and embody our brand philosophy
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to determine product facings, space allocations and to effectively execute monthly layouts across our various store formats
• Supporting promotional events, seasonal changes, and product launches through effective space planning
• Monitoring compliance with approved layouts and proactively providing recommendations for improvement
• Analysing sales and stock data to identify inventory trends, underperforming items, and top sellers

Skills and Experiences:

• Diploma or above in business, visual merchandising or related field
• 1-2 years’ experience in Merchandising, Space Planning, Inventory Management or a similar analytical retail role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• A strong understanding of retail industry trends and consumer behaviour
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, organisational and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, with an ability to interpret and translate data into practical actions
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively with various stakeholders
• Proactive and results-driven mindset, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, and effectively deliver multiple concurrent projects with a strong commitment to deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
