Vmc Setter Cum Operator

1. Machine Setup (Setter Role)

• Install and align tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the VMC machine
• Load CNC programs and make necessary offsets (tool & work offsets)
• Set cutting parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut)
• Conduct trial runs and first-piece inspection

2. Machine Operation (Operator Role)

• Operate the VMC machine to produce parts
• Monitor machining process and make adjustments if needed
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are met
• Load/unload raw materials and finished parts

3. Quality Control

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Use measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge)
• Perform in-process inspection to maintain accuracy

4. Maintenance & Safety

• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
• Identify tool wear and replace tools when required
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
