- Northlands (Kaikohe preferred) location and WFH flexibility
- 20 hours a week, on a 12-month fixed term basis
Job Description

Join our team at Hato Hone St John as a Volunteer Support Coordinator. In this role, you will provide dedicated support to our Te Manawaroa Volunteers. Working closely with the Clinical Evaluation, Insights, and Research Manager, as well as Operations colleagues and functional managers, you will play a crucial part in assisting our volunteers to achieve the Te Manawaroa First Responder status.
- Provide focused support to Te Manawaroa Volunteers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and support.
- Advocate for cultural and procedural changes aligned with Volunteering NZ Best Practice Guidelines.
Qualifications
Ko wai koe - About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proficiency in tikanga Māori required
- Background experience in adult education preferred
- Demonstrated experience in volunteer management or support roles.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Understands and is committed to the principles set out in He Whakaputanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
