As a VP of Engineering at Speakap, you’ll be joining a Netherlands-based company that’s transforming the way organizations communicate, connect, and collaborate with their frontline employees. As VP of Engineering, you'll directly shape our engineering execution, drive a culture of high performance, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across our mobile and web platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and scale our engineering teams (20+ FTE), directly managing Team Leads (currently 3).

• Drive execution, ensuring predictable, efficient, and high-quality delivery aligned with our business goals.

• Build and nurture high-performing teams by inspiring trust, providing mentorship, setting clear expectations, and encouraging continuous professional growth.

• Establish strong operational practices, leveraging metrics to drive productivity and improve delivery outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, Platform, and Site Reliability teams to ensure smooth alignment and execution.

• Foster a transparent, feedback-rich culture emphasizing accountability, growth, and proactive ownership.

Who You Are:

• A seasoned (10+ years) engineering leader with proven experience building high-performing teams, ideally in a SaaS organization.

• Passionate about operational excellence, metrics-driven execution, and delivering outstanding user experiences.

• Experienced in overseeing product delivery on platforms such as iOS, Android, and Web.

• Skilled in communicating effectively, presenting ideas clearly, and collaborating across diverse stakeholders.

• Committed to fostering an environment of direct, open communication and continuous professional growth.
