Description:
San Telmo is a gem of Melbourne's restaurant scene, and undoubtedly one of Australia's finest Argentinian restaurants. Sitting at the corner of the Spring & Little Collins Sts, our prime location means that the CBD is on your doorstep when it’s time to treat yourself in town!
Wait Staff can expect to perform the following duties as part of their role:
Delivering warm, attentive service on the floor while consistently meeting our food, wine, and guest-experience standards.
Taking orders accurately and confidently, with a strong understanding of the menu and beverage offering.
Engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner to create memorable dining experiences.
Working collaboratively with the FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented section throughout service.
Following all venue procedures relating to safety, hygiene, and service standards.
Skills and Experiences:

The ideal candidate will have:
•
Unrestricted working rights in Australia - i.e. Citizen or PR status, or at least 2+ years left on a temporary visa
•
Full time, flexible availability incl evenings & weekends where needed
•
At least 1-2 years of experience in a premium, fast-paced restaurant; with a strong understanding of food & beverage service and customer interaction.
•
Ability to confidently serve food & drinks, operate a POS system, and handle transactions accurately.
•
Strong upselling skills and a passion for creating great customer experiences.
•
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
•
A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
