Turners Cross Tavern is a newly reopened, beloved bar with a lot of history right in the heart of cork City. We are advertising for a Waiter.

In this role, you will be required to interact with the public, provide a welcoming environment for our customers, serve a variety of dishes. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Serve food operations in a fast paced environment
• Ensure proper presentation and quality of the meals
• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service and greet customers warmly
• Address customer complaints or concerns professionally and courteously
• Keep bar and restaurant area clean, organized and well stocked with supplies
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Comply with security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
• Cash handling, process customer payments accurately including cash, card and tabs
• Verify legal drinking age of customers as required by law
• Follow all alcohol serving guidelines and company policies
• Key Skills and Attributes:
• A good understanding of the English language
• Previous server experience ( 1+ years)
• Flexibility to respond to a range of work situations under pressure
• Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and good sense of humour
• Good communication skills
• Initiative

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From €14.10 per hour
