Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, confident and customer-focused Host / Server to join our café team.

The role involves welcoming guests, assisting with seating, taking orders and providing attentive table service. The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting with people, communicate clearly and contribute to a warm and professional guest experience.

This is a customer-facing role, so professional grooming, confidence, good communication and a positive attitude are important.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide a warm first impression.
• Assist guests with seating and table arrangements.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Explain menu items and answer guest questions.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously.
• Check on guests during their visit and respond to requests.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and barista team to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tables and the guest area.
• Follow café service standards and operating procedures.
• Handle guest interactions professionally and politely.
• Support the team during busy periods.
• Help maintain a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for all guests.

Required Skills

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English, Hindi and Punjabi.
• Confident and comfortable interacting with customers.
• Friendly, courteous and service-oriented approach.
• Professional appearance and good personal grooming.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods.
• Willingness to learn café operations and hospitality standards.

Education

A diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.

Experience

Freshers are welcome to apply.

Previous experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, QSR or other customer-facing hospitality role will be an advantage.
