Waitress/Bar Staff

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve not only serving drinks but also assisting with food preparation and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure that all food safety regulations are adhered to.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers, providing excellent service and upselling menu items when appropriate.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for billing purposes.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Assist in training new staff members as required, sharing knowledge of best practices in hospitality.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food safety practices.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
• Excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A friendly and approachable demeanour, with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Willingness to help colleagues and work as part of a team to deliver outstanding service.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £11.95 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
