A Waitress/Waiter plays a pivotal role in creating a positive dining experience by providing attentive, efficient, and friendly service to guests.

This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Guest Service - Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables. - Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies)

Order Taking and Serving - Take accurate food and drink orders using order slips or a POS system. - Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure all orders are delivered promptly and correctly. - Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.

Customer Engagement - Check in with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. - Provide recommendations on food and beverages when requested.

Payment Processing - Prepare and present checks to guests and process payments. - Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.

Table Maintenance - Clear and clean tables, reset them for the next guests. - Ensure dining areas are tidy and well-presented at all times

Collaboration - Work closely with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant. - Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as seating guests and clearing tables.

Compliance - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards. - Follow all restaurant policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Experience - Previous experience as a waitress or in a customer service role is required.

Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €14.15-€15.00 per hour
