Duties

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements
• Assist guests with seating preferences and answer any initial questions about the menu or specials
• Take and relay guest orders accurately, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages with enthusiasm, maintaining high standards of guest service and hospitality
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness of host stand, dining areas, and service stations while adhering to health and safety standards
• Use phone etiquette to answer reservation calls and provide information about the restaurant’s offerings
• Support team members in delivering seamless guest relations and memorable experiences

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of serving techniques, guest relations, and phone etiquette is beneficial
• Demonstrated professionalism in guest services and hospitality settings

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
