Summary

The Walk-In Sales Associate is an integral member of the Sales Team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for assisting customers visiting the sales office to purchase a wide variety of standard and custom precast products, including, sanitary and storm manholes, storm catch basins and curb inlets, water meter pits, walls and other custom concrete products. This role requires proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office and the ability to learn Titan Precast Management System software.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Provide sales support to walk-in and call-in customers.
• Coordinate with plant managers on stock items in inventory.
• Maintain safety by adhering to organization standards.
• Assist with the periodic inventory process and maintain invoicing documents as directed.
• Compile sales information and assist with customer contact and account updates.
• Provide project management assistance to the Sales Manager as directed.
• Provide a point of contact for incoming calls and assist with general customer service.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
• Proficiency with a PC based computer system
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers both in person, by phone and email.
• Work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
• Strong analytical, organizational and documentation skills.
• Construction industry experience preferred.

Education & Work Experience:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Experience with Microsoft Office is required. Experience with Titan Precast Management System Software is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• The Walk-In Sales Associate will have to spend their time sitting and using office equipment and computers.
• Must have the mobility to walk in the storage yard and production plant as needed to perform duties.
• There is the potential for lifting supplies and materials (less than 40 pounds)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
