If so, here is an exciting opportunity for you to become part of our maternity team at North Shore Hospital.

If you enjoy working with minimal supervision in an environment that is constantly changing and offers many challenges which ensure you never have a dull moment, then you need to apply for this role.

This job involves administration responsibilities such as clinical and clerical data entry, generating NHI numbers, maintaining filing systems, compiling rosters, meeting and greeting women and their whanau, taking and redirecting telephone calls and distributing incoming mail. You will need to be able to work autonomously. An understanding of BadgerNet, PIMS and Oracle would be an advantage.

You will be working as part of a team of clerks who provide 24 hour support to our busy maternity unit, so you will need to be willing to undertake shift work. This role is mostly afternoon/ evenings and Friday 8.00-16.30, it will be a set 2 week roster.
