About the Role

We are looking for an amazing ward clerk to join our team in OPAL.

OPAL is our Older People's Assessment and Liaison Unit based at Palmerston North Hospital.

The hours of work are 16 hours a week working Monday and Sunday 8am – 4.30pm.

About You

As our successful applicant, you will need to be customer focused with excellent communication and administrative skills including:

  • Proven word processing and working knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Experience with data entry
  • Well developed interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Pleasant telephone manner
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy
  • Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Have a customer-focused approach to all aspects of work
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
