Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and logistics activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse organization, experience operating forklifts, and the ability to handle materials and equipment transportation efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Management: Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy and cleanliness.
- Material Handling: Receive, store, and manage inventory, including construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Equipment Transportation: Safely load, secure, and transport materials and equipment to job sites.
- Trailer Operations: Operate trailers to move equipment and materials; ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts for loading/unloading and material handling.
- Logistics Coordination: Plan and execute the timely transfer of materials to job sites, optimizing routes and schedules.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse organization and logistics.
- Valid Forklift License.
- Class A Restricted Driver’s License or higher, with the ability to tow trailers.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
