Job Summary
As a Shipping Specialist at SERVD Distribution dba Indacloud, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure all customer orders are shipped out in a timely manner and help maintain accurate inventory. You will play a vital role in ensuring our customer service reps and sales reps have access to accurate information regarding our inventory. Responsibilities

• Process, package, and ship customer orders using the Shipstation app.
• Work closely with our Customer Service team and respond to messages regarding orders via WhatsApp and email
• Check WhatsApp throughout the shift to stay on top of CS inquires
• Respond to after-hours WhatsApp messages before 9am each working day.
• Check the email address throughout the shift to check for any Distro orders/sales rep orders.
• Inspect products leaving the warehouse for defects or damages
• Assist the Sales Representatives with product transfers to and from the Wisconsin warehouse.
• Using transfer sheets, accurately count and confirm the reps product transfer
• Assist in keeping updated transfer sheets on hand for the Sales Representatives
• Effectively communicate with the sales reps regarding any product shortages
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory counts on products, shipping supplies, etc.
• Stay on top of co-packing
• Move product and materials from the warehouse to the e-commerce area
• Alert the Warehouse Manager when products reach their reorder threshold
• Accurately receive incoming products and pallets
• Organize warehouse spaces
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse.
• Sort product according to warehouse location
• Keep the warehouse, breakroom, bathrooms clean, tidy, and hazard free.

Potential Future Opportunities:

• As SERVD Distribution continues to grow, we plan on expanding our options for customers to reach out and receive products. This includes opening up a Madison WI based “Cash and Carry” allowing stores to buy and pick up products directly from our warehouse. Job responsibilities will expand to include:
• Working directly with customers to assist in gathering products and answering questions.
• Running a cash register/credit card machine

Skills

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in a warehouse environment.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Great organizational skills and the ability to work/think independently
• Ability to work 7:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday (hours may change)
• Ability to effectively communicate with others
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time (8 hrs)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
