Schedule: Sunday - 12:00 pm - Close & Monday - Thursday 6:00 pm - 3:00 am
Pay: $22.50 per hour
Job Summary
Accelerated Inc. is seeking Warehouse/Dock Associates. They are responsible for operations in the warehouse and on the docks, which involve movement of freight to satisfy shipments booked by customers and to ensure safety protocol is always upheld. Utilizing a sit-down forklift to load and unload freight to/from trailers.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trailers safely following safety measures. Load freight safely by ensuring even weight distribution, stacking, bracing procedures are followed. Unload freight safely by ensuring no damages occur, operate forklift in reverse slowly and safely
- Complete daily forklift inspections at beginning of each shift
- Communicate with dispatch for daily duties/ projects to work on
- Sweep trailers and dock
- Notate any damages to freight that are witnessed
- Correctly fill out proof of delivery paperwork and acceptance forms
- Has basic understanding of hazmat regulations
- Practice safety procedures daily to prevent accidents
- General warehouse responsibilities
Qualifications
- At least 1-year experience operating a forklift, loading and unloading from trailers.
- Trucking, Freight, or Logistics industry experience is a plus
- RF Scanner experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, or squat for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work extended hours if needed
- Must be able to pass company background check and drug screen.
