Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling of goods from receiving to shipping. The ideal candidate will possess experience in warehouse distribution, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various equipment. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move products safely within the warehouse.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and order fulfillment.
- Engage in order picking and packaging to prepare items for shipment.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and manage stock levels effectively.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is essential.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience in manufacturing or construction environments is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Work Location: In person
