Warehouse Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

Placon is a leading thermoformed packaging company with over 50 years of innovation, sustainability, and excellence in the manufacturing space. As a Warehouse Associate, you'll play a vital role in daily warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and shipment of materials and products.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where safety, teamwork, and reliability are essential.

The schedule is a 12 hour rotational shift with 3 days on, 4 days off4 days on, 3 days off.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse using forklifts and reach trucks

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment

• Utilize scanning equipment for inventory control and order tracking

• Accurately stock and replenish warehouse locations

• Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist in routine housekeeping

• Adhere to all company safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety training

• Perform tasks at heights up to 25 feet while operating warehouse equipment

• Support cross-functional warehouse areas (e.g., shipping, receiving, inventory control) as needed

• Contribute to a team-focused, safety-driven environment

• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience

• Forklift and reach truck driving experience required

• Must be willing to complete forklift certification upon hire

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently; team lifts and equipment used for heavier items

• Comfortable working at heights using appropriate safety equipment

• Able to follow instructions, maintain safety protocols, and meet productivity standards

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Willing to work 12-hour shifts, rotating schedules, and overtime as needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDSWORK ENVIRONMENT

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling

• Regular exposure to warehouse conditions including temperature fluctuations and moderate noise

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel/composite toe boots (provided by employee)

• Operation of industrial equipment in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
