Callaghan's Electrical is expanding our team to keep pace with strong growth both in-store and online.
Our warehouse is the hub for all stock movement and web order fulfilment, and we’re looking for a skilled, safety-minded operator to help us meet rising demand.

Role Overview:

The Warehouse Operator reports to the Warehouse Manager and supports the smooth, accurate, and safe flow of goods through our Burt Warehouse.
You’ll be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching products, processing web orders to meet daily schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking & Packing: Create picklists, pick materials for on-site/off-site schedules, and fulfil online customer orders for shipping.
• Receiving & Inspection: Receive and inspect goods on site or off site; offload materials for Goods Inward inspection.
• Documentation: Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed, signed, and dated.
• Material Movement: Transport material/product to line side or within the warehouse as required.
• Stock Maintenance: Maintain stock levels, label, combine, and tidy inventory; ensure Goods In and inventory are clear and correctly located daily.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and reach trucks.
• Packing & Shipping: Palletise, wrap, and prepare goods for onward shipping.
• Vehicle & Equipment Checks: Complete checklists for all vehicles, forklifts, vans, and lorries.
• Health & Safety: Follow all company Health and Safety procedures and maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping.
• Scheduling: Meet kitting delivery times as per schedules issued by your Team Lead/Manager.
• Continuous Improvement: Make ongoing efforts to improve warehouse standards.
• Other Duties: Perform any additional tasks required within the warehouse or associated departments.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role.
• Knowledge of stock management systems.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with other inventory systems is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary:

• Dependent on experience.
