Position Summary

The Warehouse Operative is responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading deliveries, managing freezer storage, rotating stock, and ensuring all materials and products are handled safely and accurately. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and compliance with all health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload delivery trucks.
• Manage and organise freezer and storage space effectively.
• Carry out regular stock rotation to ensure product quality and compliance with company procedures.
• Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory control.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.
• Adhere to all health & safety, food safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Report any risks, unsafe practices, or stock issues to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager immediately.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Additional Duties

• Perform other duties as required to support warehouse and production operations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to work in cold/freezer environments.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
• Team player with a positive and flexible attitude.

Working Conditions

• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Location: Ardcavan Business Park, Wexford

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €16.50 per hour

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
