We are seeking a Warehouse Operative for our Bonded Warehouse Whiskey Maturation site in Waterford. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an established, successful and expanding organisation. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a full-time position, 40 hour week, 8am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs and 7:30am to 4pm Friday.

Responsibilities:

· Receipt, inspect, record and storage of goods into warehouse

· Processing, picking and packing orders to achieve agreed turn-around targets

· Storing and rotation of stock in correct location and updating warehouse records accordingly

· Stock control and stock counts

· Liaise with Administration Team forward relevant paperwork to the office and advise of any discrepancies

· Liaising with various departments to ensure information on stocks and open orders is readily available

· General maintenance duties in warehouse and maintenance of warehouse equipment

· The job also includes other general duties to maintain the efficient working of the business as and when required

Skills:

· Driving Licence

· Forklift Licence (not essential)

· Organisation, planning and attention to detail

· Good English, verbal and written communication skills

· Strong customer focus

· Basic computer skills

· Honesty and reliability

· A willingness to work as part of a team

· A good level of fitness

Experience:

· Forklift Driving is an advantage but not essential

· Experience in a warehouse setting is an advantage but not essential

· Use of scanners in a warehouse setting is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €31,000.00-€31,500.00 per year
