Warehouse Operative

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. This role involves materials handling, stock management, and utilising warehouse management systems to maintain an organised and efficient workspace. The candidate will also be required to hold a full, clean UK driving license and act as a relief van driver for our fleet of vehicles to cover holiday and sickness where required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to load and unload goods.
• Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage stock levels and assist in inventory control.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse area to promote safety.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while performing tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders.
• When required, complete deliveries to customers in a timely and professional manner.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, particularly in materials handling and stock management.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• A valid forklift license is desirable but not essential; training may be provided for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
