The Opportunity:

As a warehouse operative you will support core warehouse functions including receiving deliveries, material movement, stock control, preparation of installation job packs and other general warehousing duties. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork, with the flexibility to adapt to changing business demands.

Responsibilities includes:

• Support the overall objectives of the warehousing and procurement departments in alignment with business requirements.
• Contribute to the effective delivery of core warehouse operations, including goods-in, goods-out, stock control, and internal material movements, maintaining best-in-class performance at all times.
• Ensure full compliance with housekeeping, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) standards, and all relevant regulatory requirements within the warehouse environment.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists accurately and in a timely manner, as instructed.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of stock management processes and actively seek opportunities to optimise material flow and storage efficiency.
• Ensure the accurate and prompt receipt, inspection, and processing of all inventory and non-inventory deliveries.
• Remain flexible and responsive to fluctuating warehouse demands, adapting to workload changes as needed.
• Undertake general maintenance and upkeep duties across assigned areas of the property, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly workplace.

Qualifications/Key Skills:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
• Basic IT skills (use of stock systems, email etc.)
• Be organised and efficient in managing tasks and time.
• Good level of physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks safely
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
