Part-Time Warehouse Operative

We have an opportunity available at Traditional Cheese Company for a Part-Time Warehouse Operative to join our team.

Working Days: Monday and Saturday
Hours: 16–20 hours per week
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all manual handling requirements.
• Pick products accurately, ensuring correct quantities and weights.
• Maintain awareness of temperature-control requirements within relevant areas.
• Ensure products are loaded and unloaded correctly and safely.
• Ensure all goods are rotated correctly using FIFO (First In, First Out) to minimise stock obsolescence.
• Maintain awareness of and adhere to allergen requirements and controls.
• Notify a member of the Quality Assurance team of any quality issues as they arise.
• Adhere to the Company’s Food Safety and Quality Management System.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.

Operational Requirements

• Communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships at all levels, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Adhere to Company policies, procedures and expected standards of behaviour.
• Attend and contribute to required training.
• Respond positively to reasonable requests from Management.
• Promote and contribute to effective teamwork.
• Demonstrate flexibility to cover similar duties within the business where required.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, quality and workplace safety.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ warehouse experience
• Forklift Truck Licence
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Ability to work effectively in a busy warehouse environment

Availability to work both Monday and Saturday is essential for this position.

Pay: €15.61 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
