Warehouse Operative

Salary: €32,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. This role requires a reliable individual with proven warehouse experience and current forklift licences, who can contribute to the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload vehicles (palletised and handball) using Reach and Counterbalance forklift trucks.
• Receive, check and process Goods Inwards.
• Unpack bags, boxes, pallets, crates and other packaging materials.
• Allocate stock to designated warehouse locations.
• Carry out stock put-away into racked locations using reach forklift trucks.
• Maintain accurate records through data entry in the stock management system.
• Complete administrative tasks and ensure orderly filing of paperwork in line with company procedures.
• Build pallets and complete picking and packing of orders.
• Prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Conduct stocktaking and cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with external customers, suppliers and contractors.
• Liaise effectively with internal departments including Operations, Sales, Finance, Administration and Transport.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment through regular housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• (Keyholder responsibilities) Secure the facility by locking up, alarming and ensuring premises are safe at close of business.

Minimum Requirements

• Current valid licences for:
• Reach Truck Experience (Essential)
• Counterbalance Forklift
• PPT (Powered Pallet Truck)
• Manual Handling
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a warehouse role within the last 5 years.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Full Driving Licence (Preffered)
