Warehouse Associate (Tech-Enabled Operations)

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced distribution operation. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable using technology on the warehouse floor, including scanning guns and inventory management systems, and who has hands-on experience operating forklifts and reach trucks. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, organized, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
• Use RF scanning guns and a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately track inventory, picks, and movements.
• Perform order picking, packing, and staging to meet daily shipping deadlines.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Assist with shipping and receiving, including verifying quantities and documentation.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets.

Requirements & Experience

• 2+ years of warehouse experience in a distribution or logistics environment preferred.
• Experience using scanning guns and inventory/WMS systems is required.
• Valid forklift and reach truck experience (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
• Comfortable with technology and learning new systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Mechanical aptitude is an asset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cycle counts and inventory audits
• Order fulfillment and packaging experience
• Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
