JOB DESCRIPTION:
Warehouse Operator, $18/hr
Warehouse Manager

- Understand the receiving process and how to store customer and in-house material.
- Be able to complete receiving reports accurately.
- Understand how to read “pick” lists and be able to select correct material for shipping.
- Be able to pack, band, and wrap material for shipping.
- Understanding all shipping functions in SAP and be able to use UPS World Ship and customer data base (LTL).
- Understand all customer routing guides and adhere to procedures.
- Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
- Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
- Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
- Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.
- Technical Capacity
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be qualified and certified to operate a forklift and stand up.
- Must be able to operate equipment in a safe manner.
- Must understand safety policies and rules.
- Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.
- Basic knowledge of quantitative methods/statistical procedures and graphic skills.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

The anticipated wage scale for candidates who work in Springfield, MO is $18.00 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. New York Air Brake is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance. Employees also will be able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation leave and 40 hours of Personal Paid Absence every year. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays, and 2 personal holidays throughout the calendar year, subject to relevant terms outlined in the employee handbook. 6 weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use. Requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents and policies. Employees working on federal contracts covered by the Federal Paid Sick Leave requirements will be notified and will receive benefits consistent and compliant with the FPSL requirements. Hired applicant will be able to purchase company stock, subject to the relevant plan documents and annual bonuses based on achievement of certain metrics.
