Warehouse and Production Operative
Soltec (Ireland) Ltd – Mullingar, Co. Westmeath
Soltec (Ireland) Ltd is a growing environmental services provider specialising in:
- Collection and recycling of solvents and hazardous waste
- Manufacture of paint thinners and hand sanitiser
We are now seeking a Warehouse and Production Operative to join our team at our Mullingar facility. This is a hands‑on role within a busy, safety‑focused industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse and/or production setting and hold a valid forklift licence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Forklift Operations — Safe operation of forklifts, loading/unloading vehicles, and working within a busy warehouse storage environment.
2. Goods Inwards — Receiving, recording, and correctly storing packaging, waste materials, and related supplies.
3. Stock Control — Tracking and locating all items using a computerised stock management system.
4. Waste Handling — Sorting, processing, repackaging, bulking, and labelling waste for onward shipment and disposal.
5. Load Preparation — Assisting with the preparation and checking of outgoing loads to ensure full compliance with hazardous waste transport regulations.
6. Documentation — Supporting the accurate processing of all paperwork associated with the movement of waste, products, and supplies.
7. Health & Safety — Following all safety procedures and instructions to maintain a safe working environment.
8. Housekeeping — Maintaining a clean, orderly, and efficient warehouse.
9. Solvent Handling — Sampling and transferring solvents as required.
Additional related duties may be assigned as operational needs arise.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years’ warehouse or production experience
- Valid forklift licence
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Safety‑conscious and reliable

- Full‑time, permanent position
- 40‑hour week: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30
