Warehouse Storeperson - (Full time)

Location: Newcastlewest, Co.Limerick

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Storeperson to join our team in Newcastlewest. This is a full time permanent position offering a varied role within a busy warehouse environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day to day operation of the warehouse, with a strong focus on accuracy, organisation and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock.
• Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including housekeeping and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Using warehouse IT systems to process orders, update stock records and complete administrative tasks.
• Assisting with stock takes and inventory management.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure orders are completed on time.

• Be hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic.
• Have excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Be organised and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Be flexible and willing to assist with a variety of warehouse tasks.
• Have good computer skills and be comfortable using IT systems.
• Be able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English to follow work instructions, use warehouse systems and comply with health and safety procedures.
• Hold a full, clean driving licence.
• A valid forklift licence is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment is desirable; however, full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
