Transport Supervisor

Location: Damastown, L2

Job Description:

The Transport Supervisor is responsible for supporting the efficient and compliant day-to-day operation of transport activities, ensuring service delivery meets agreed performance standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Planning, coordinating, and scheduling daily activities for drivers and operatives in line with operational requirements and service KPIs
• Monitoring transport operations and resolving day-to-day issues and queries from drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders
• Providing operational support to the Transport Manager and deputising in their absence as required
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant transport legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements, including maintaining accurate records/documentation
• Supporting route planning and optimisation to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service delivery
• Promoting and contributing to a safe working environment in accordance with health and safety legislation and company procedures

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• A minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role within transport, logistics, waste management, or a related operational environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (in particular Excel and PowerPoint)
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to support different operational areas as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €39,000.00 per year
