Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient distribution, shipping, and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and proficiency with heavy equipment operation and warehouse management systems. This role involves managing a team, coordinating logistics, and maintaining safety standards across all warehouse activities to support seamless order fulfillment and inventory management.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, order picking, packaging, and loading/unloading of goods.
• Operate and oversee heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery to facilitate movement of materials.
• Manage warehouse distribution processes utilizing systems like AS400 and other warehouse management systems for accurate inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and general warehouse safety standards.
• Lead a team of warehouse staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training on equipment use (including order picker and mechanical knowledge), and fostering a productive work environment.
• Oversee order fulfillment processes to meet customer deadlines efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and construction teams for seamless load & unload operations and inventory management.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping & receiving activities and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision within a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, and order pickers.
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, packaging, and load & unload operations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with order picking, inventory control, and warehouse safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively in a dynamic setting.
• Construction or manufacturing background is a plus for understanding complex logistics workflows. This position offers an opportunity to lead a vital component of our supply chain operations while working in a collaborative team environment dedicated to operational excellence.

Pay: $22.50-$25.00 per hour
